Quintessence of existence

As I've worked in the tourism office, I had realized that life isn't easy to deal with. It has ups and downs that every young individual must encounter in order to succeed in life.  Here are some learnings I gained in the 10 days work immersion: Be Patience all the time, especially while waiting for the webpage to load Be Respectful and polite, attitude defines what kind of person we are Manage time wisely Be Responsible in everthing we do Be Organize with your things and the way you submit your output Love your work with all your heart Be not dependent, try to explore independently Be Initiative and Resouceful Seek for help if needed, it won't lower your pride Have self-confidence, shy type person won't be notice and won't succeed Be observant Explore new things; especially in using computers Be friendly, create connection for a better communication  I also learned how to photoshop, embed video and files in wordpress using HTML and uploa

Throughout our lives we go through many changes but changes are needed to improve and gain more experience. Yet there are some changes that generates sadness Last Day of immersion doesn't mean a goodbye; it's a way of opening new opportunities in our lives. In the 10th day of our work immersion, we just simply reviewed all of our works and memories we've built within the four corner room. After that we waited for ma'am Marga to arrive but then she never, she was too busy that day so to ease the boredom, we watched t.v , scroll on our phones and then at 5 pm we left the  establishment w/ a smile. Yes we smiled not because our work immersion is over but because of the learning and new skills we'd gained. We are so thankful to our supervisors for letting us experience what really working is all about. A big thanks to everyone for molding us well.

" Life was always a matter for the right moment to act " -Paulo Coelho After all the delays and dissappointment, finally!...Yes! Finally we had been deployed to a place we've been longing for. On January 28 2017, I together with my co-students went to Municipal hall to attend the orientation for us to be aware on the dos and don'ts of being an employee. Upon arriving at the place, the ambiance was soothing and relaxing, it was very quite that even the droplets of  water from the faucet could be heard. There's nothing special in our first day. Our supervisors missed the chance to welcome us for some important matter. To ease the boredome we felt, we roam around the tourism and met the witty and bubbly child jande. She toured us to the back portion (tourism site)  where craft "chuchu" are made. We even met other people who welcomed us and talked about how they did the souvenirs.

" Attitude defines who and what you are - it is the most important aspect above all " January 5 2018- It is the day where Pre Immersion and send off ceremony was held in the Nabunturan National Comprehensive High school gymnasium, the said event leaves me so much to remember. At that very moment of my life I learned how to become mature and responsible. I gain a lot of tips on how to become a good employee in the near future with the help of the speakers whose words of wisdom left a remarkable and helping lessons in our individual life, they fed our minds with their nutritious and delicious messages. Attending such great events is one of a kind, especially in lighting the candle. Parents were there, giving their full support to the their child. As me and my mom lit the candle I felt excitement and sadness. Excitement for we can open a new chapter in our lives  and be who we want to be and sadness for I know sooner we will bid our goodbyes to each other.

PAGPASALAMAT, PAGLIPAY UG PAG INAMBITAY. SAULUGON TA! SIMBALLAY! Simballay festival is celebrated every 2nd week of the month of December. It is an annual festivity of Nabunturanon to express; Togetherness, sharing and thanksgiving for a bountiful harvest. Simballay festival is an event just like the Sinulog of Cebu and Kadayawan of Davao showcasing different variety of agricultural product of the 28 baranggays within our municipality. The event is also a symbol and respect in honoring indigenous people and their priceless efforts. Before opening the celebration, few days ahead of that, women were busy preparing for their local costumes and props, men decorating the streets and building their authentic cottages abundant with their local products from different baranggay, children and teens were busy practicing for thw coral, garbo ang Iwag sa kadalanan competition. Witnessing the merry making celebration was a blast! It is truly a heart warming feast for I thy see

Flowers, chocolates, balloons and letters overflowed the Nabunturan National Comprehensive High School's Gymnasium during the celebration of Parent's Day. This said event is prominent for it is traditionally celebrated on the 1st day of December. Parent's Day is a special way to celebrate our love to our mother and father. It is done because our parents deserve our honor, love and respect for giving us life itself. Beyond this, they do countless sacrifices in nurturing us from the beginning and up to now, they provided us with the necessities of life and everything and nursed us through sickness and sorrow. Moreover they also serves as our guide in the emotional and mental stress of living life. Having a family is a precious gem of life that no one can buy nor duplicate. They are the gift of God;without them we are nothing, without them we are nowhere to be found. So as a child, let us thank our parents for all the sacrifices and unconditional love
